I feel your pain on the fuel prices, I suspect everybody does. ($3.59 in Slidell this AM)
I know it's only 8 confirmed, but 8 this time, maybe 12-14 next.. First thing you know we're gonna have large GTG's. And I almost forgot about the send off for Matthew (blksiryder). That in itself is reason enough to keep the plans.

Hey, I'm still planning on going, My thoughts are this, if you have to worry about how much it cost for fuel you shouldn't go, but ,just think, you will spend it for something, it might as well be for having fun and seeing friends, just my nickels worth, used to be 2 cents worth , but inflation has set in.

Robert, I will know what my new schedule looks like a week from Monday. I transfered back to land. Wife has been bugging me about camping, so I'll run it by her and check to see who's on call for the weekend, if I'm not or can get out of it, I'm there.

Nope, nobody wanted to come work for the company, heck I tried to get several to come, they said for even money, they were staying put. Due to the time they had invested. We are hiring all the time. Now, I love to gamble, it almost cost me a divorce before we even got married. However when the dealer is showing an ace, you always take the even money. Live and learn I guess. I kept telling everyone the fuel card was a raise indexed for inflation, guess no one was listening.
