85 F-150, Hammond, Tangi Parish. My name is Jimmy and I'm 26 and married with no kids.
In high school I drove a single cab, LWB, '74 F250 with a 360 (small towing cam, performer intake, Holley 750 vac. secondary, long tube headers and dual exhaust) and 4 on the floor with 4.10 gears.
Then a single cab, LWB, 95 F250 5.8 with a 5-spd.
Next was a Crew Cab 95 F350 dually with 7.3 PowerStroke and E4OD.
I bought my current 85 F150 with a 351W (Holley 750, long tube headers, flowmaster 40 series muffler) about 8 months ago. Took me about a month to get it running. Had to replace the flexplate, starter, fix some ignition wiring, replace the carb, and plug NUMEROUS vacuum leaks. Took it to the track for the first time this past Friday night and ran a best of 16.337 @ 83.40MPH

jimg welcome to FTE, have you joined the Louisiana chapter yet? I'm in Kentwood, so we are almost neighbors compared to where most of the other guys are, Check on the June 6th GTG we are having here in Kentwood, hope you can make it.

Thanks! I put in my request to join the Louisiana chapter earlier today. I'll have to talk to the wife about June 6th, so I'll have to get back with you on that one....you know how that is. I wonder if they're still going to build that racetrack up your way?
