I just seen you post, I live just south of Natchitoches. What did you think of the lights and fireworks? The lights looked different this year I think they are LED's.
Hey man it was all beautiful, I have never seen a fireworks display to equal that. We stayed 2 days and did all of the tourist stuff, shopping on the River Front, riding the horse Buggies, and cruising the river on the boat ride. I moved from Natchitoches in 1977, and beleive me, the lights were not anywhere near as nice 30 years ago. Next time we are over that way, maybe we can hook up for coffee or something.

I have lived there my whole live, I went to school at NSU and worked there until about 3 month ago when I got a new job Alexandria. I now have about a 35 min commute.
I lived in the Natchitoches area from 1972 until 1977, then moved to Redondo Beach, CA, stayed there 1 year, moved to Plano, Texas for 2 years, then to Kennesaw, GA for 4 years, then finally to New Orleans in 1984. I was an executive in the trucking industry since 1969. When I finally settled down in New Orleans, I bought a farm here in Kentwood, came up here on the weekends, worked in New Orleans during the week. Then 5 years ago decided I had had enough, so I sold out the New Orleans operation and moved to Kentwood full time. We really enjoy the country life.
Hey Pacoo, I remember that xmas tree run very well, how time does fly, and what a small world we live in. It's really good to hear from you, we will get something going before too long. How about them Ford Diesels?????
