460 HEI Distributor conversion
Has anyone out there used one of the Chevy style HEI Distributors they have available? I've seen some for not too much more that $100 and it seemed like it might not be too bad of a way to go. The main reason i would switch is the shap of my wiring aright now. Its a little bit of a mess under the hood and the HEI would be a nice three wire set up. Tahnks for any help!

An alternative you might consider is using a Duraspark distributor but with an HEI module.Here is a link with more info http://www.carbdford.com/tech/HEI/hei.htm

Wow, i saw things like this before, but i didn't even think about them. I think thats the way i'm going to go, the HEI distributors i saw we're really great name brnad and i'd much rather go with ford hardware even if i'm using a little gm electronics..... Thanks!
