Lug Nuts
I sure do need some input as to how tight the lug nuts should be on a F250 SD, CC, Short bed PS. The owners manual says 150-165 ft/lbs but that just doesn't sound right.
I was also told that Ford sent out a letter saying that this figure was wrong and what to tighten them to but I didn't get it.
I always thought it was about 85-100 ft/lbs.
My local tire store says the same as the owners manual, but I just don't think they are up to date.
Can anyone give me some good ref or input.

Go out to www.motorcraftservice.com and look at the most recent owners manual for your truck. I wouldn't be surprise if the 150-165 is correct. That is what the the torque is for my 04 150 and what it was for for my 01 F150.
