BTW my edge with attitude was the latest version (2.3) I believe. I set it with defueling most of the time, but you can only eliminate defueling in 4 & 5, it will always defuel in 1,2 & 3. Maybe I do drive like a pimply faced kid, but at 43 I am far from that. And believe me my driving at any speed is better than 70-80% of the Houstonians I have to put up with. About 100-150 miles a day. I could drive DRUNK better than they can drive sober LOL. That last line was a joke for all of those responsible individuals!
I wonder if I could use the SCT to program the tranny so it works with the Edge? Have you tried that? I would buy the SCT if it would prevent wear on my tranny for sure, but would have to work it with the Edge. What do you think?
www.MotorHaven.com does custom SCT diesel tuning. For most people the Predator or SCMT is the way to go. For those with special needs, the SCT (and in some cases, programmed specifically to stack but that gets expensive).

That's weird...my Edge defuels at all levels or just 4&5. The exact opposite.
Also...my "tow" mode is supposed to be better at limiting EGT's than the stock mode...but I haven't tested that in real life yet.
I talked to Todder about his set up...it sounds like a plan.
