6 disc changer in console

I have a 99 explorer, the changer seems to work but will no longer eject the box that holds the cd's , it sounds like it is going to eject but will not, is there a way to get it open with out damaging the cd's that are inside? thanks for the help.

it got it to eject, but now the changer no longer accepts the cd box back into the changer.......oh well, will check it later......if any one has info on what might be wrong with the changer, please let me know.......Thanks

yes u can arentee that the rubber slider on the inside broke witch means that the motor wont slide it any where i dought for has this part and i dought that any one could fix it so would suggest pulling it out and getting a fm modulated cd player. e-mail me with any other questions
