Thanks for the help you guys gave me on "shotgun advice" a little while back. I went out last week and bout a Benelli (sp?) Nova for $300. I was told by alot of people that its the best bang for your buck, and a great first gun. Im going out on Saturday to shoot it, Im hopin itll live up to what people have said about it

 

That's cool. I got a winchester model 1300 shotgun for christmas from my dad, it was his and he doesnt use it anymore. I went out and hunted quail with it. Ive heard good things about the gun you got, hope it meets your expectations.

 

I got my 17-year old son a Nova last year for Christmas. He really likes it. The first time we went trap shooting, we were paired up with a couple of pros. I shot poorly, breaking something like 15 out of 25. My son on the other hand shot great and broke something like 24 out of 25. The pros were pretty impressed. I was ready to trade him my expensive o/u Beretta for that gun!

 

I got a Nova 18" with ghost ring sights, last oct and LOVE it. Hope you enjoy.
