Cell Phones

Do you leave your cell phone turned on all the time, so somebody can contact you, or just when you need to use it? Also how often do you put it on the charger? Like every night before bed for those who keep it on everyday??

It is extremely rare that my cell phone is ever off. Not that I am a popular person who gets calls 24/7, but I am the only one of my friends who owns a truck or is mechanically inclined, and I have saved quite a few people from being stranded at 3 in the morning. I charge mine every two days or so.

My cell phone is my only phone. I cancelled my land line 4 years ago. Therefore I leave my cell phone all the time and charge it approximately every two days.

I carry 2 cell phones with me everyday. I have my company phone which is a nextel and I have my personal cell phone. My nextel, I have to charge everynight during the days that I am working because I can't be caught with a dead battery on that phone. There are many days that the nextel gets used so much that the battery only lasts for about 8 or so hours then it it dead. Plus we are not suppposed to be turning off that phone, because if someone in the company tries to get ahold of us and it is turned off, our management gets mad. On a normal day My company phone gets used at least 4 hours total, whether it is the nextel or the cell phone part.

My personal cell phone, I usually can let for for two days, but I usually charge it at the same time that I charge my nextel.

I hate cell phones, btw

I leave mine on all the time. I just swap batteries when it starts to run down. My wife's phone got chewed up by the dog, but it still charges batteries

Mine is on unless I am in a place or situation that warrants it be off. It gets charged as soon as I hear myself say to the person I'm speaking with "Ah, crap. My battery is going dead....".

I leave mine on 24/7 some, other times I just turn it off at night. I only charge it up with one bar of battery or less though, because it lessens the battery life to charge it when the battery still has a lot of power, so I'm told .

I have two phone, both for work. I typically charge the Nextel every other day and my verizon phone daily. I used to leave it on all the time until I started getting work call on the weekend and my days off. Now my phone is on from Monday at 5:00am till Friday whenever I shut it off. If it is an emergency, anybody I care to talk to knows my home number or my wife cell number.
