Anybody into pellet guns?

My dad bought me a Red Ryder bb gun when I was about 6. He had to saw off almost half of the stock so I could hold it right! Hahaha
Anyways, I've been into shooting and hunting my whole life (got my first real rifle at 6 1/2) and own plenty of firearms, but I still find sittin on the back porch with a pellet gun a lot of fun. I have several targets set up in the yard and like to just plink away sometimes. Cant do that with a .22, not here anyways. If I ever move onto my land that will be a differant story!
Guess I got a lil carried away today. I mounted a lil Daisy 4x scope on it today and painted the whole riffle cammo
I use to have one for hunting, but gave it to my dad. This one I got now has enough power to kill a squirl and black birds (dont ask how I know or the neighbor hood **** assosiation might come after me ....I hate suburbs).

Well these lil things sure are fun, good for stress relief too!

I've had several, but I like my Beeman 0035 the best so far. Very accurate, and great for squirrel hunting. I'm checking into some of the guns made in China. They have some that put out over 1200 fps.

I have one of the Chinese imports. Looks and feels like a full size rifle. It's a great way to work on your flinching IMHO.

My neighbor called me last night at 1:00 am. He had a coon ripping a hole in his roof. I brought my pellet gun and hit the coon several times but didn't kill her. She appeared very prego and was probably looking for someplace to build a nest. I would have preferred using my 22 short but the sheriff was there and he didn't seem to thrilled to have me shooting a 22 in town.

My import prefers the supermatch pellets over the pointed pellets. The accuracy is much better with them.

Absolutly! I have a Gamo Hunter 220 with a 3-9x40 rifle scope on it and a bipod. 1000 fps and can shoot one hole groups at 25 yards. Supermatch or wadcutters are the only way to go for accuracy. It's great for bird and pest control around the farm because it will kill your target, but won't go punching holes in everything. I can even use it inside buildings if I make sure I'm at least 15 yards from the tin. Otherwise I'll make little skylights. I have to say it's probably one of the best $200 investments I've ever made.

We had a Daisy as kids, until my little brother shot the nieghbors kid in the forehead (no real harm done). Needless to say, no more BB/pellet guns in the house after that

I've been looking for a CO2 pellet rifle for a long time, I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Just got a Winchester, with Daisy name on it, made in Turkey, 1000 fps, with 3x9 scope. On sale, $149 I think.

Got this as I have a skunk trying to get under the house and I don't want to go to jail for 5 years for popping it with a .22 or a .38, either of which would wake the neighborhood.

Don't know if I'm going to get a clear shot at the skunk, but I sure found out how bad I pull a rifle off when I fired it the first few times.

Got to get some range time in if I'm going to hit anything. Cheaper than .303, too.
