Accesory Delay
This is my first post in this forum
Hope someone can help me with my question,
it is about how it works accessory delay, I want to enable it because my truck does not have power windows, but I'm about to buy a new installation kit to do so, is it necessary to buy a some kind of new electronic module or if the module for accessory delay is already installed on my truck what wiring connections should I do?
I have a F-150 1998 Triton V-8 4.6L regular Cab with no power windows
.sorrry for my bad english (I'm still learning )
Sincerely

Your English is as good as most of the people on here so don't worry about it

Is the power window kit you're getting an aftermarket kit? Do you have a link to a website that shows the kit?
I think you probably will just need to wire it so it has power when the ignition is on so you shouldn't have to do anything with the accessory delay.
I'm not positive if your truck already has an accessory delay relay or not. The GEM (Generic Electronic Module) in a truck with power windows is different than the CTM (Central Timer Module) that your truck uses but I'm not sure what all is different.
yes, it is a aftermarket kit, I don't remember if the product has website available,
I read in the owner's manual that there was an accessory delay feature available for vehicles equipped with power windows so that you could use the windows for about 10min after the ignition was turned off, and I thought that it would be nice to have that feature available on my truck, I looked for the "ACC delay" relay in the fuse panel but it was empty, (relay No 5 according to the owner's manual), I thought that I could enable that feature, but i see that is not possible, I'm gonna do what you told me to do, I have already found the wire that the power windows need to get energized when you turn on the ignition it is one that is gray and it also has a yellow line and comes from the steering column.
I got the part number of the module that is above of the fuses, I don't know if that module is the GEM or the CTM, F75B-14B205-LB
Thanks a lot for taking your time to reply my post and for your advice.
