My 2014 Super Duty, the accessory delay relay is starting to acted up. When driving my instrument cluster and heater/AC will cut-out momentarily once in awhile. I guess Ford has known about this problem for years and hasn't done anything to fix this known problem in their Super Duties. My truck is almost out of warranty and I guess to fix the accessory delay relay is to replace the whole instrument cluster with a new one with the same defective part. Of course, the accessory delay relay will never acted up a the dealership because it's totally random. Plus, I don't trust the incompetent people who work at my local dealership to do a good job on tearing out my trucks interior and to get it back together like factory. I'm at a loss.

I'm not aware of any known issue with the 2014 accessory relay. Where did your information come from?
Ford had this problem for a few years according to what people have written on the the internet. My brother's 2012 and now my 2014 SD have the same problem with the accessory delay relay.
Dealerships, they all suck. Those flat-rate monkeys that work at the dealerships hate warranty work and most of them don't take pride in their work. My brother had one of those crappy 6.4L PoS in a SD, and it was in the shop all the time. So, I'm well rehearses on how dealerships work, and they all suck, haven't found one that I like or trust yet. The main reason why I bought a gasser and not in PoS is because I didn't want the Ford dealership to work on my truck. Ever time my brother got his Power Stroke back from dealerships, it would come back with damage like kicked in A/C condensers, to tears in his seats. It's too hard to find a mechanic that has pride in his work.

Let's see what I can do to help, DCP. Are you going to proceed with the repair at your dealership? How many miles are on the truck? I'll start researching options.

Before you mess with the local stealership, contact the folks at Circuit Board Medics talk to them.
It's easy to remove the instrument cluster and have them fix it, and much less expensive.
