Well I've been excited all month because I'm putting Eagle Alloys series 58's on my 'star, they are to be wrapped in Yokohama Geolanders AT+II's, the smallest size they make in em 225/15R70.
Starting day before my trans started acting up though, no 4th gear and it makes a whizzing sound when I try to engine brake at all. But it's in the trans shop today, so we'll see.
eBay my friend. I mean, eBay IS my friend. found em for 295+60 bucks shipping. They are 15x7 with 4" backspacing, the clearance seems just about perfect, i'll find out tomorrow when i get em mounted+balanced and throw em on.
found out it's most likely internal in my trans. anyone know what a a4ld 4x4 should cost installed? i've only got one quote so far at $1200.
Update: I've had the tires and rims on the van for a week or two now, the handling in the snow and ice is unbelieveable. the only problem with them is when i hit a hard dip in the road, the back wheels rub for a second. For now i'm gonna put coil spring spacers in until i can afford air shocks.
