Im picky on my stuff so I do them once every two weeks or so, depends on how they look. They clean easy and I use a product called Mr Buffer which is awesome and easy to use and found on the net. I may try one of those power ***** by Maguires to see if it works good or not. All & all nice rims and a nice look, reason I may sell is I might go to 18 inch rims and a 6 inch lift.
They call them polished for a reason. Because that's what you'll be doing all the time!
I had a set of Eagle's and switched to chrome a little while back. My truck stayed outside and they clouded over pretty easily. I had a die grinder for my air compressor and mushroom bonnets that made it easier, but it was still a pain to keep them clear and shiny.
My 2 cents is pay a little extra for chrome now, and you'll be a lot happier in the long run.
I agree on the chrom thing but if your on a budget they are very nice rims. I really dont mind cleaning my rims and I detail my truck anyways so the 1/2 hr it takes is no biggie to me. Its like anything else the right tools makes the job so a good cleaner as I described is the key. Honestly I will go chrome next time but basically the design I like in a larger rim size is Chrome so here goes more cash!! LOL
2 of my friends had the exact wheels I had and theirs stayed cleaner and shinier a lot longer than mine. But they kept theirs in a garage. I didn't have that luxury.
Seemed like the morning dew killed mine. I didn't like forking over more money for wheels again, but I thought I'd get rid of them while they still looked good. I got a good deal on my Helo's, so it didn't hurt too bad.
I started paying attention to all the polished wheels on the road and most of them looked pretty bad. Either they didn't stay on top of them, or just didn't care.
