99' f150 surges on takeoff, lost power
my 99'f150 with a 4.6 just started acting up about a week ago, seems to have lost some power
during take off and it is surging when i give it gas to get moving. once i get up to speed it isn't as noticable,seems to be kind of intermitent,doesn't do it all the time, the service engine soon light has come on twice now. i know that if i take it to a shop they will put it on the machine and check it out but i thought i'd be able to save some green and have you guys tell me a
quick and simple fix. any ideas?

Take it to a local Autozone or other parts store. Autozone will pull the codes for free. Others may too. With the codes , (since it has shown a CEL already), you can at least find out where to start.
