Superlift 4" w/ 35s

I was thinking about a body lift, but I went with the Superlift 4" kit. Pretty easy install (compared to Chebbies and Dodges), rides great and I like the stance.

35 x 12.5 BFG AT KOs on 16.5x9.75 Centerline wheels. I got a great deal on the used tires and wheels, so I had to lift it. At least that's the way I justify it to myself.

For comparison- the truck in the background is my toy- '94 Dodge Ram SWB, 9" lift, 38.5 Swampers and 1 ton axles. The tow rig is almost as big as the towed rig...

I went with Gray shock boots to match the truck- I am not big into chrome or flashy colors. I am more about function and cost than show... Thanks for the compliments!!

You're not allowed to say the "D" word on this website! Just kidding. Your Ford looks tuff! I love those rims. You don't see those much anymore. I love those and the Hellcats... also don't see those much anymore.

Mountain Ram, where did you get your kit? What else did you have to buy?
Shocks, drop arm, pan rod? and How long did it take?
I have been considering a 4" edge kit to do myself and have thought about the superlift and DR from superduty HQ.
The truck looks great!

Centerline doesn't make these wheels anymore- they are out there (new and used), but they are hard to find. I love the look, thats part of the reason I jumped at it.

I bought the lift out of a small shop in Louisiana. I used to live down there and the guy was a friend of mine, so he cut me a good deal. Even with shipping he beat every other price I got, but that was a buddy deal...

The lift took about 6 hours by myself in 40 degree weather and drizzling. I have a 3 ton floor jack, four jack stands and hand tools, but I have done at least 100 lift kits on all different vehicles. I had to get it done before Christmas (I'm traveling) and this was the only weekend I had free.

The kit came with front springs, track bar drop bracket, front sway bar drop brackets, front bump stops, driveline spacer (for 2 piece rear driveshaft with carrier bearing), shocks and a rear block kit. The truck has no bump steer whatsoever and Superlift doesn't recommend a pitman arm with the 4" kit.

I lived in Northeast LA, near where Superlift and Skyjacker are located (West Monroe).

I talked to alot of people about the pitman arm- I hear about 50/50 on what has been used- there is no bumpsteer with the truck, so I don't plan on using a drop arm unless I start wearing out rod ends. The track-bar and the centerlink seem to be at very close angles- it works for me...
