Whats the groups opinion of the Yukon gears?
I see that Randy is have ing a sale on them and I am about ready to drop the 3.55's and go to either 4.10's or 4.56's in the 8.8 and Dana 44.
Yukon is only the best! it's what billavista uses in his overabused trail rig and he loves them!
this is straight from pirate...
"Yukon remain a bit of a mystery to me - I have never ben quite able to figure out exactly what there gig is - but as near as I can figure, they themselves don't actually manufacture anything - they are a mass buy and re-badge company. This works out very well for me here - as the kits I got from 4WDFACTORY were 100% genuine Dana/Spicer parts."

The only thing I don't like about them is they don't write the set up pinion depth # on the face of the pinion. It's been 3 years since I bought a set though.
Are the Yukon R&P forged in India? Personally, I stick with Dana, Ford Racing, Precision, Richmond and Motive Gear. If you look hard enough the price difference isn't that much. I have bought a set of Yukon but sold them before installing them.
Also, the reason for my above picks more or less in order actually had to with setting them up. Dana, Ford Racing and Richmond are excellent in that category.
