c-6 or e40d to a 5sp??
hey all, how hard is it to swap an auto to a stick, in a 91 IDI 4x4 f-250 excab. I think it would be the e40d , but Im not sure. when did ford switch? I was wondering if it is worth doing the switch instead of the inevitable rebuild at 160k, have any of you all ever done the swap?

I am looking to do the same swap as well.. I have an 88 F-250 Ext Cab 4x4 with the 7.3 and a C-6. I was told that the swap was very straight forward. You will need the ENTIRE clutch/brake pedal bracket as well as the safty switches, steering column, trans, driveshafts, and clutch resevoir assembly.
