Think about it.....the computer needs to get a signal for it to record miles. Just interupt the signal and you're set. It takes a good eye in the wiring diagrams It is possible.......

December '30 - 04/04. Picked up Jan 13, and it's got 35,000 miles on it right now. Warranty almost up and no were near the 3 yr. Twice at dealership.

Ouch! You sound just like me. I ran up 36K in a year and a half. Thankfully I shot for the 6 or 7 year/100K Warranty. If your wallet allows, I suggest you do the same. I haven't really had to use it, but better safe than sorry.
