Evidently Arthur Blank thinks Vick is the best, just signed him for 10 years for 130 million. Then to top it all off the Falcons GM on camera says that that position is the most important and well worth the money. I bet the offensive line guys are real happy campers this morning.
For active QBs I would probably have to go with Brett Favre even tho , as a Bears fan, I am vehemently against the Pack (except when they play St. Louis - then I cheer the Packers!) Since the Bears can't seem to find a QB - or offense for that matter - GO Defense! - I guess I'll vote for Favre!
As a long-time Steelers fan, I will have to throw a couple names out there....both old and new. Looking at ultimate results, Terry Bradshaw has 4 SuperBowl rings and I think that says a lot, even though his overall stats may not put him at the top. Also, Big Ben Roethlisberger is looking pretty good too for a rookie. He has yet to be beaten, so his record is perfect so far. Only time will tell where he will fall on the Best QB list.........
Question. Johnny U., called his own plays, ran his team.

Elway ran his team so much he ran the head coach out of town so so much for that. Furthermore Elway did call his own plays once Reeves was out the picture. Unitas' play calling was pretty much drawing lines in the dirt compared to what Elway and other had to work with. Hell I'd take Joe Namath over Johnny Unitas. "Broadway" Joe won his Superbowl over Johnny U and say what you want about Unitas coming in late during Superbowl 3 the fact of the matter remains that the Colts were the better team, the Colts still had a chance to win the game when Unitas came in and once he did come in many felt that was the end of the Jets' chances of getting their Superbowl win. Joe Namath was the first man to throw over 4,000 yards in a single season in an era when most quarterbacks sturggled to get over 2,000 yards. "Broadway" Joe would have had Marino-Manning like numbers and Montana's rings if he were today.
Somebody mentioned Steve McNair and his injuries. Every quarterback plays injured they make too big a deal out of Steve McNair's injuries. He's good but even 100% healthy he still out of his league mentioning the best of all-time or even today.
