Who do u think is the best NFL quarterback I think Peyton Manning is. Because he is highly accurate and he rarely throws interceptions just my opinion. fordguy101

Brett Farve. They have said that he still has the hardest throws.

The best? I'd have to go with Brett also. Atleast in "my generation" of football fans.
My favorite though will allways be Joe Montana, from the 49er days. Even though I'm a total Cowboy fan.

Peyton. EVER. I know those are big shoes, but he is honestly the man. It doesn't hurt to have Marvin Harrison to catch for you, and Edge to keep the defense honest. If that team could get a decent, complete defense together...

Peyton is good. In time he may end up being the best but unless he gets some rings he will drop into the Marino category. Funny how Marino and Elway were always mentioned together until Elway won two superbowls.

Fran Tarkenton. I guess that dates me. I saw him play for both the Viqueens and the Giants. In Yankee stadium! Right now, it's Manning.

I have to go with Peyton. Favre is certainly good, but he throws too many wild passes. He's just been more fortunate than Peyton to have a solid defense behind him several years. Peyton is a better student of the game, too, I think. If you watch them both on the sidelines, Favre throws on a jacket and wanders around a bunch. Peyton either gets on the horn with his OC or QB coach, or looks over photos of the opponents' defensive setups. Getting a couple of rings would certainly help him solidify his place in history, though.

Personally, I think rings are about the team...we're talking QBs here.

I remember watching one of those QB competitions a few years ago and Favre had thrown some long passes but out of bounds.

He got PO'd and heaved the ball 95 yards straight down the middle of the field
I still remember thinking WTF did I jsut see.

When he's healthy I'd go with Favre, he had another concussion earlier this year and you could see that he just wasn't playing that well for the next two-three games. Now he's firing on all 8 again, makes him very dangerous. Manning and Brady are hard on his heels but experience does count.

wow....

no mention of Tom Brady.

I pick him for his versatility, and his focus.

He's hasn't got the big arm, but he's a smart QB.

I have no stats, but his record speaks volumes.

So may times he's turned games around with minimal time left. Big 2nd half QB...even when down.

YOu guys are all taking a good offensive line into consideration, unfortunately. The best Pure quarterback is Daunte Culpepper. Even with a marginal O-line, he manages almost the TD's, and more total yards than any of the above mentioned. So there.

I'm dropping the Philly bomb...Donovan McNabb. Would you stand in his way after he has a 4 yard head start for scrambling? He shakes tackles like a mailman and a small dog. And he throws laser beams...maybe not as hard as Brett, but still. Of course, T.O doesn't hurt having as a target.

you got to be kidding me??? why because he started off with a good year??? im sorry but duante isnt even in the same catagory with Peyton and Brett, but the best right now will have to be Peyton...he's gonna end up with atleast 55 TD's this year and second straight MVP

Both of them are hall of fame-bound. Farve is on the tail end of his career. But..even in his prime, I think Peyton is the greatest. And he's not afraid of a hit or two.
