It would all come down to intentional / non intentional reasons for the wreck . As well as did your family member willingly go along with it, scenario being reversed and your sibling was guility would you hold the same against them for killing your friend. The sad part is that very few people are willing to be the designated driver ever and worst that a drunk will fight you for his right to drive. I guess not always, but, the mere guilt of being a part of someone's losing their life should be guilt enough. I guess there is always that person that just does not care and keeps on being a mess up.
I’m going to have to say…it all depends on the situation. Several questions need to be answered before I could venture a guess…
A) Was the friend at fault in causing the accident? (example: Stupidity, Drugs, Alcohol, etc)
B) How much did you like the sibling? (sorry had to be said )
C) Did the accident damage your Ford Truck? (come on yall were thinking this one )
