Just saw a news story here at home about five hunters that were shot and killed back in WI. Apparently a couple of hunters told a guy he couldn't use their stand and the guy opened fire with a semi-auto rifle. Killed those two and kept killing as others responded. Among the others were a teenage boy and a woman. My heart goes out to their families. Would like to find out a little more about the story instead of relying on my local crappy news.
WOW I just heard it on the news as I read the post The guy was from Minn and was caught after he ran out of ammo and got lost!! What a worthless piece of crap!!!!
i used to work with a guy would drank to much and hunted. his idea of a good time was waking up at 4 am, knocking back a 12 back, then going out in the woods with his gun.
he asked me if i wanted to go once and i simply said no.
This guy should have taken out his frustration at the paintball range if he wanted to shoot at live people.
I wonder why this sort of thing doesn't happen more often, actually. I hunted quite a bit in my younger years, and while I was creeping around the woods I thought of this scenario a time or two. Having a firearm in your hands is a powerful feeling, and I always had way more ammo than I needed.
Just last week we had a 4 hour power outage when some kids decided that since they couldn't find any deer, might as well shoot the electrical insulators off them thar poles.
