4 inch conical air filter

anybody know where to source just this type of filter, actually any conical one for a 4 inch inlet, they just look better than the napa/baldwin type. And I only want the paper type the oil gauze K&N stuff is beat.

That filter is a reusable oil gauze filter.

your best bet is to take the filter if you have it and go to napa and see which one they think it is and start going through the boxes to find it. or just pull all that out and put the tymar system in which uses a napa 6634

Tymar performance. Dale Isley (509) 922-8705. Great guy, he will be able to answer any question you have for your PSD.

Thanks. I'll give him a call. Do you have any idea how much it cost's. I was looking at the system. He has some great pics on the stock system removal and Tymar install. What's the deal with the coolant filter?

I paid $140 for mine with an extra filter. The coolant filter removes any sand from the casting process of the block. It also removes other sediments. It also helps the life of the water pump.

If you don't mind me asking, why did you change the air filter system on your truck?

For the simple fact that the factory air box is very restrictive, with the mods that I have and want to do it helps the engine "breathe" better making it more effecient.
