I need to know what the plastic clip inside the fuel line where it connects to the fuel pressure regulator is called or where I can get one. I accidentally broke mine when I took it off.
Thank you
I did go to the dealer but they don't sell that clip individually. The only way to get it is to buy the whole fuel line which is $400. I'm going to try the auto wreckers. Hope there's one there.
wow 400 bucks for the set ...well i guess you are forced to go to the wrecking yard to shop for this part...just make sure you get a good one while you go. no wonder you said OOOOPS.. how did this happen and let me know how you made out and good luck
Look at the local auto parts store for those red carded 'HELP' items, usually near the screws, washers, plastic fastener area. They have 2 in a package for Ford. Called fuel line retainer clip.
The fuel line quick disconnect tools are less than $10.00 . Try shopping at industrial tool supply houses instead of the auto parts stores for tools. I think you would be surprised at their selection & prices.
I call them duckbill clips. That's what I asked for at Carquest and the gave me a 6pack. I keepa few spares around becuase it's easier and faster to just break them and put new ones in.
