Maintnence Charger
I went to the auto parts store and bought a little maintnence charger for my old truck. On the back of the package it says vehicles equiped with an alternator disconnect one batt. cable.

Do i have to disconnect one cable ?
I mounted this charger under the hood. I don'e want to have to disconnect the batt. every time i plug it up.
Do I?

I found it by typing 46662 in the search box, but it doesn't give any info. I thought maybe the instructions had a website, or the actual manufacturer had a website we could look at.

would it hurt any thing to just hook it up to the batt?

Well, I found a company at custom-accessories.com , but can't find any battery chargers. I can't see any reason to disconnect the alt? I have a 10 amp battery charger on a Pontiac outside now, and I didn't disconnect the alt.
