460 roller cam

Where can I find a roller cam for my 460 automatic trailer puller? It seems I could make some wicked torque at low rpms with some of the roller profiles in DD. Moe

Crane, Comp, Crower, Lunati, etc...I think they all make hydraulic rollers for 460s

The one's I have seen are all 3500- 7500 rpm range. I would like something in the stump pulling range. Moe

Crane 359331 200/212 .532/.568
Crane 359341 216/224 .556/.580

Can't get any more stump pulling than that. They're both right in the online Crane catalog.

I think normally it would but the roller allows for much steeper ramps which helps all around. I'm sure someone can explain this much better than I. Moe

Lift does not mean worse mileage. It does mean more power, you are making the engine more effecient. Its all about letting the engine breath, if anything you will increase your mileage provided you don't change your driving habits. But most of the time we get worse mileage because we tend to stomp on it.

The reason you don't see the factory do this is because of reliability. More lift means means more strain on the valve train components.
