Gentex Mirror Install ??'s
I've bought myself a Gentex Mirror with the built in Compass and Temp displays... now the mirror comes with great instructions on how to installing the thing but I'm having a little trouble. I'm trying to get the wires from underneath the dash to the mirror. I've tried to removed the trim piece with the grab handle on the drivers side but can't get is to come completly off... so that's where I'm stuck at with the install...
Can anyone help me out and tell me the best way to get the trim piece off?
Also has anyone installed this mirror themselves, if so how did you do it?

well my 02 had no grab handle on the dr side, but my trip came off with a good yank, and snaps back into place. i don't recomend yanking on it when it is cold, the trim will be brittle when cold, and could break. yeah i installed my mirror, mine is from MITO corp. i love it........

My main problem is that once I get the handle off and the trim peice is nice and loose it still won't come off... I think it's being held on by the dash some how but I can't really tell where. I really hoping I don't have to take apart the whole dash ...
