Well, you need something to up the power, new alternator, battery, something to help, because you are drawing a lot of power. How big are big *** foglights. I had 4 100w lights on my Ranger, so plus headlights that 510w of blinding power. At night I couldn't have the stereo turned on, the lights on and my headlights on at the same time (that meant no headlights hehe), the alternator couldn't keep up. And I only have a 300w amp. As far as the cap goes, I have only known two people who had one, and they seemed to work in both cases. Luck maybe, I don't know, but they worked.

Well, the "super cool" way to address this problem is with an auxiliary battery bank. You'll also need an isolator, so the cost will be $400-500, but it's a sure way to get the needed amps to your accessories.

Hey guys, t_dickie, the fogs are 110w each, and there's two of them. Plus my cb radio. I definitely don't want to have to buy a whole new battery just for some new speakers with an amp juicing them. It's extra expenses I don't need. I don't plan on getting anything huge, just something to increase my speaker system's ability to please my ears in terms of quality.
