scanning the 6.0l
I have a 03 6.0 and am currently running the superchips tuner at the middle setting. when I set the tuning I also checked the codes and I had a 403 404 and a 405. I also own a automotive repair shop and own a snap-on scanner, and last week bought the new 03 upgrades. Finally to my question, can I scan my truck with my snap-on scanner while it is tuned? also, does anybody off the top of their head know what those codes are for, I believe they are probably for my egr valve that I disabled, however the check engine light never has come on. If anybody has any answeres that would be apprieciated.

All the codes are listed in the back of the manual that came with your SCMT. Yes, 403,404,&405 codes are all related to your disconnected EGR. I don't see any reason you can't hook up your scanner to the truck with the Superchips tune installed. Will your Snap-On scanner even work with the 6.0 PSD? The interface is now CAN and I know that AutoTap doesn't work with the new protocol.
