I just came back from the truck show and they had an offroad course where you could test drive the new vehicles. I drove the 05 F250 to see how it rode compared to mine.
I noticed the speedometer was not working nor was the odometer. But it did have an hourmeter along with the tripmeter.
I thought this was a little odd since the truck was being test driven non-stop for two days, then would be detailed and returned to the dealer to be sold with 17 miles on it.
It was an automatic. I had a few beers but I would remember a clutch and a stick.
There must be a way that the dealers can program it to turn off.
Also, is the hour meter standard on the 05's, or is that something that the dealers can program in too?
