hub lock does not move

I did more than spray. I submerged the interior in a mix. Put them in a tupperware container or something. You just need enough fluid to cover the bottom inch. Fill the container and then the inside and let 'em soak.

I've had the problem with the 99 F250. The driver side got really tight a couple years ago and ever since that they were junk. The hub was removed and cleaned and not long after it stopped working. When the front end was replaced Warn's were installed and there great. $170 for both sides at Napa, $100+ each side at Ford. When the X has problems I'll go with the Warn Premiums, $185 for both sides.

before i reassemble my hubs where and how much grease (i guess type too) should i use

Well, I guess by this it worked. I'll be honest, I just put mine back on after the soak; but any light grease should do the trick. I've got about 30K on them so far and they still turn. Depending on what you drive in, taking them off and doing a clean 'n lube is a good idea.

i used a light coat of bearing grease on the inside and out side splines, but they will probably need to be replaced in the spring they just dont seem that smooth when turned
