I have a 02' PSD 4X4 crew cab. The only mods I have currently are the Kwikk filter mod and I recently straight piped the truck.I also run 16ounces of DK with every fill up. I am right at 90xxx miles now. I have continually had a problem with the high pressure oil lines and o rings leaking. I have had the truck in to the stealership 4 seperate times about this same problem. 2 times for the right side high press line and 2 for the left. They said once that it was the oring then said the hose.. I'm just getting darn frustrating Went outside this morning and noticed a pin drop of oil on the ground same as it was in all of the other cases. The truck was just seen at the stealership 9/28/04 for this very thing. Guys we drive the best D#*M Truck out there. PLEASE any suggestions on really fixing this would be great. I plan on going back to the stealership Monday , This work was done under warranty and I still have about another 10xxx miles left. BTW sould I put my stock air box back on when I take it in or don't worry about that? Thanks very much in advance for any help!
Just did the o-rings on my truck and no leaks. Best way is to pull the plugs from the heads and lines from the hpop then drain the oil out of the heads & pump so you can get the threaded holes spotlessly clean. I sprayed throttle body cleaner in the holes and blew them out w/compressed air. Clean the plugs & line fittings same way. Need to make sure you are applying the special loctite sealant (that comes with the o-ring kit) to clean, dry (non-oily) threads. Also, are you sure they have been using the right o-rings? They need to be viton.
Well guys got the truck back and its not leakin' The verdict was that the o rings in the high pressure oil lines had been replaced with the Ford updated "kit" but not the line itself on the left side. So they replaced lines and o rings and said all should be good again. BTW they scratched my billet grille in the process of FIXING my truck bad enough to were they offered to replace it.... So to let yall know if your high pressure oil lines go there is a Ford Factory upgraded kit part #FMC YC3Z 9J323 CA Thank yall for the replies. Until next time....

Beast01 I have not ever owned a diesel without some sort of oil leak. Stay out of the dealer unless warranty is still available. Go to a good mechanic or you know the old saying, " If you want it done right you have to do it youself". You may have better luck also with aftermarket products. Dont give up though I know this problem can easily be repaired.
