Need help ASAP - Trans dtc code P1744
I need help ASAP. Coming home from work today my overdrive light started flashing. Almost forgot, I have a 2001 F250 Super Duty, V10 with the 4R100 automatic transmission. Anyway, I managed to make it home and used my OBDII scanner and it had one code, P1744. Has anyone else had this code and what causes it? I found a description on-line - Torque Converter Clutch System Stuck in Off Position. Is this something easy to fix or is it major. I am suppose to be going on a hunting trip Saturday and if I can't go because of this I am going to be so p***ed. Can anyone help me out?

kenneBF250V10 -- I know this is an old thread, but was wondering what became of the P1744 code and your 4R100 tranny?
