Manual conversion

I have a '90 F150 2wd 302 AOD That I plan to convert to manual. So far all I have bought is a used ZF5. Any advise on what parts to buy new? I am assuming a new clutch. What about the flywheel? Also is there any way to modify the existing cross member to support the ZF?

driveshaft should be the same from a m5OD truck or a zf5 truck. also, xmember is the same for ZF5 and m5od. I cound't find a good way to reinstall the fram gussets that go from the crossmember to the top of the frame, so at osme point I need to get them from a manual truck, and you should too.

Does this mean that I can get all my parts from a m5OD truck?

sorry but if we are dealing with a 2wd truck which we are you will need a new driveshaft i have done this exact conversion on my 95 f150 the 2wd zf has a fixed yoke output whereas the m5od has a slip yoke all you have to do is measure the 2 trans side by side and youll see, now if this were 4wd i think they would be the same because all the transfercases have rear slip yokes
