Overdrive Solenoid Color Code? Need Help!

Overdrive Solenoid Color Code? Need Help!
Anybody out there know which wire goes to which on the 65 Ford Warner Overdrive Solenoid. The harness has two blue wires. One has a yellow stripe I believe. There are two colored wires coming out of the solenoid. Does it matter which way they go? I dont want to blow anything. I imagine these solenoids are expensive...

My wireing diagram showes Blue to the relay on the firewall ( blue )
and the orange wire to the kickdown switch ( blue/orange )
blue wire at the solinoid on the tranys is the voltage from the firewall relay
the orange wire is to kill the ing whan you use the kickdown switch.

Duh!!! I guess I sould have realized the stripe thing. I figured thats how it should be but I wanted to be sure. I think the wires were backwards when I removed them. I hope if they were that it didnt burn up anything!
As I said in another post that trans has to be the heaviest, hard to handle 3 spd in existence. I thought it was going to whip me and my helper.
