custom dash...maybe

I would like to replace my entire steel dash with one that I can put stand alone guages and stuff in, but I am having trouble getting some switches out. I can't get the ignition switch to come out, with the paper clip in the hole thing-maybe I'm doing it wrong. Help? Also, the wiper switch-how does it come out, and does the hazard switch come the same way? Any help would be much appreciated...thanks

You put the paperclip in the hole and turn the key towards the accessory position. After you get the lock cylinder out, you push the switch (from the back side) and turn it counter clockwise, which will separate the bezel from the switch and from the dash.

The wiper and hazard switches have allen head set screws in the *****. Once they come off, then there are slotted nuts to remove. They make special tools to remove them, or you can use a pair of needle nose pliers.
