Jeff, a quick question.
Since you really seem to know your stuff, do you know anything about the "totally redesigned" superduty? My local ford man said he is hearing a total redesign availiable to order in Dec 05, out in Jan 06 as a 07 model year. I am not sure if I should wait or order an 05. I have a 99 250 with 175000. If redesign is any later than 06 I will order now. Any info would be appreciated!!

Nothing confirmed from Ford, but 2007 seems to be the year for the "Tonka Truck," the concept vehicle Ford showed a couple years ago that the next-generation S-D is supposedly based on. When the '99 Super-Duty was introduced, it came out in January of '98, so there's precedence for the timing that you mention. Please keep in mind that this is all speculation at this point, and Ford spent more than just a few bucks on the 2005 S-D update. You don't make changes like that in this business and then dump it all the next year for an all-new design. At this point, 2007 seems to be the year for big changes to the S-D. But you didn't hear that from me!
