I was talking with a friend that works with FORD CHEVY and GMC. He told me that in 2006 the F250 will look totally different and also chevy is changing there trucks too. Does anyone know if this is true?
The last good rumors anyone has heard say that MODEL YEAR 2007 is when the redesigned Superduty will be out... meaning they'll be sold starting in the latter half of CALENDAR YEAR 2006.
Of course that could easily get delayed if they have trouble engineering something, or need to spend their efforts elsewhere, or...
it wouldnt be a revision 2 years in a row. the 05's which are available now (04') is just a mid model revision meaning its a transition change. the new model which is suppose to be out in 07' will be released in late 06'. its done often in the industry for transition to a different style but to keep sales brisk.
Part of the change is due to Ford losing its contract with Dana (chasis builder) in '06. I sure hope the new builder will do as good a job. I heard early to mid '06 as the new delivery date.
