econoline redesign

anyone know when the econoline is scheduled to be redesigned / updated? what do you think they will do besides styling changes?

I havent heard anything about a redesign on the E series but seeing that GM just redid their hideous vans I think Ford will have to do theirs pretty soon too.
1956MarkII do you have any insight into this?

I've heard rumor of something new coming along like 2006 or 2007, including a 4WD model. Let me do some investigating and get back to you.

Can't get anyone to confirm anything beyond '05, but here's what I got:

No re-design through '05, just trim/ color changes. 6.0 replaces the 7.3, 4.2 V6 is gone- the 4.6 becomes the standard powerplant (smart move). 4WD a possibility in the future, but don't hold your breath.
