TFI dist and ignition module
Can anyone explain how that ignition module mounted on the distributor works, and why it's mounted on the distributor? I still haven't been able to find a decent explanation of how it works. Also, does anyone know what size those little hex head screws are that holds the module to the dist?

TFI dist and ignition module
The screws are either a torx or a 5.5 mm socket head

TFI dist and ignition module
Sears sells a tool that makes changing a TFI module a LOT easier, around $5.
