I recently purchased a 148 NWST cobra cb for my bronco II. I was wondering where the best place would be to mount it. Under the dash is an option, but I already have the switch that controlls my KC lights there, so an alternate location would be prefered. I was wondering about a roof mount...does anyone know how feasable or hard to do that would be? Are there any locations that I have overlooked?
I have a 84 BII with a Cobra 29 classic and mounted mine under the dash near the shifter but I also had the idea of buying a wedge radio bracket and putting it between the seat.
My cb is under the dast near the shifter but be careful no to block the glove box my mic clip gets in the way just a bit
my cb is a bit on the large side though
I have my CB mounted under the dash, directly in front of the shifters. Haven't had a problem with it there. I keep the mic hung over my steering column, plus the mic has controls on it to change the channel.
