Hey, i just got a 2001 f150 supercrew 2wd and around slow turns the whole car vibrates, mostly in the bed, i thought it was the rear but i guess from reading the above replys its normal
I have a vib in my 04 Screw it starts about 45 and lasts to about 70 over the last month it has gotten worse it used to start around 55 to 65 it's only there if your in the gas if I let off it goes away . now it also has a rattle noise in the dash or headliner when it vibrates can't really tell where.
I don't really know about the bed and I really don't pay attention to it , but the problem is real and there are quite a few of the 04s that do it, I have driven several and not all of them do it.
I have spoke to several Ford dealers in my area and they all know about it ,and I will be taking mine in to see if it can be fixed .
Now for those of you that don't have any vibration problems you should feel lucky you don't have to deal with this and keep out of the threads of those that do, so we can see if there is a common element to why only some of the 04s have it.
Relax. The more input we recieve from EVERYBODY the better off we are. We need to hear from those who have problems ... and those who don't. That way we can try to assimilate ALL of the information ... without bias.

i have a 04 lariat screw and my bed viberates in the mirror but i don't have any noise or vibrations in the truck at all. now when you hit bumps in the road it throws the rear of the truck sideways a little, but that is the stiff suspenion on it. i love the ride, it is smooth. the dealer told me that he thinks the vibration is from a certain type of rims and their only having the problems with the f150 super cabs not the super crews or reg. cabs. ford is buying back some of them and they are still trying to find a fix, they don't want the dealers to keep changing things because they aren't working, like (tires, drive shafts pinion gears, and rearends) until they find the main problem.
I'am relaxed but if the input is not in a positive/constructive way how will that help? I agree with you on this it's just some don't seem to want to help, in a positive way, just seem to try to start some type of flame up.
They know who they are and I find it very frustrating to read the BS they post in these threads.
