Locating the computer. 96 F250
I need to find the computer on my 96 f250 4x4 to find out some code on the box? Anyone help me out on where to find it, and what code i'm looking for?

If you;d like to give us a call, we can explain this in proper detail, it's really too much to get in to here.
In Brief:
the PCM is located beyond the driver's side kick panel - remove that kick panel, and then you can see the back of the PCM only - now in some cases, you may see the computer code on a small sticker there, it will be 3 letters followed by 1 number - like DUG1, BUG2, and so on.
If you cannot see a sticker there, then there is a more involved procedure we can tell you about so that you will be able to locate your vehicles code - another option is to plug in a scan device and read it's hex or strategy code - again, if you can't get to it by removing the kick panel, just give us a call and we can help you on this, as well as provide the best custom tuning in the business for these vehicles.
