do you or are you around long enough to remember carretta trucking rigs? thats who i was a oo for had 3 running untill penuts dereged the industry and i bailed out. dollar a mile down 50 cents and less no way went back to wrenching after a mi anyway,

Capt, that sounds familiar but I cant say I truely remember that.... I started driving OTR about 10 years ago. Got out of it for a while, back in, got out.. LOL you know how that goes..

I always thought being a trucker would be a good job...you get to see a lot of the country, and travel. But I talked to a couple friends who used to do long-haul and they said it was a tough way to make a living.

sorry man i was navy first one a minor enlist then coast guard reserve for 35 total just retired aug 13 this year could have stayed 2 more but i'm worn out i've had a very good luckie life . could go full retire right now[secure] but at this point may as well wait for ss in 4 more
