Something like Herculiner?? I'd just tape over the bolts. I'd personally avoid the do it yourself liners. My Herculiner is too thin to take any abuse.

Agreed, my Herculiner is junk. I bought a rustoleam product (2 part) still thin, but better the Herculiner.

If you feel you have to do it yourself, pick a 2 part product instead of the herculiner.

I had Line-X put in mine for 360. Shop around, ask for a 10% discount. Line-X also has a coupon on their web site. It'll outlast you, and look great. Your diy kits won't last.

I had a Rhino liner installed in my long bed for $299 on special. My brother put in one of those do it yourself ones and it has almost all worn off within 1 year. Shop around, good luck!

i am hoping i will not half to grind the bolts off to get them out. to install the 5th wheel hitch i want they will need to raise my bed up about 2 inches or so. for 300 i will get the spray in liner, thats 200 or so more thay the DIY but worth it.

Ford was nice enough to use a LOT of Lock-tite on the bed and cab mounting bolts... use the right size torx socket, 1/2 inch drive everything, and don't be a wuss, and they'll come out. When I did the body lift on my Ranger, I made sure to put the same generous amount of Lock-tite back on so the subsequent owner could have as much fun as I did...
