My exhaust manifold on my 360 '70 F-100 broke into pieces and since I can't find the part in Belgium. Has anyone got a secondhand for sale (it's the passenger-side, the other one still looks good)? The number on it is DOTE9430
Yes it's Europe and you could use a box and fill it up with that fomy stuff or some bubbled plastic to protect it and send it over by UPS. New aftermarket manifolds are easy to find, but a good second hand original is not available in my region (near German and Dutch border).

You are to good to be true. Just one question, I found on the net there are two versions for the 360. Does this realy mather or will they both fit? (The numbers on the original say DOTE9430 A B12 if this can help)
The passenger side shouldn't matter, it stayed pretty much the same. The driver's side had two versions, one with a heat riser valve and one without. The driver's side also changed to a ramhorn style in '75(?).
Pollock, your proposal sounds really great but I cannot get to your email (I'm to new on the forum) nor give you mine. Give me some time to post some more stuff and I'll get in contact. In the mean time put that exhaust manifold asside please. I just got my new (old) toytruck at home so it can wait (a 66 ex danish army Dodge Power Wagon). In the mean time I'm gonna havo to put some mussle in my arms cause it's manual steering and it's heavy!
sure new headers would sound and look better, but I think it's a waist if the rest off the engine area looks a bit ? besides, wouldn't I have to change the rest of the exhaust to to make things fit together?
yes you would have to change the exhaust but if your exhaust manifolds are origanal than your exhaust is most likely seen its better days! If you replace your own exhaust headers at $97 two glasspacks at $50 and a 8' piece of 2 1/2" pipe at $40 for under $200 You have a new Leak Free exhaust that will sound really nice. just a thought if you are going to spend the money to do something, Like my grandfather said, "If something is worth doing it's worth doing right."
only small problem, I live in Belgium, europe and before things get to me from the us of a things always double in price (33% import taxes on sales and transport costs) so your exhaust system will cost me 400 and you'll probably will have to ad a bit more for the transport.
By the way I still got a system for my 57 fairlane 500 but then I would have to buy another one for that car when it's finished (it's something like a 10year restauration job)
