Transfer Case ID

I have a 79 F250 4x4 with a 400ci, Borg Warner 4 speed, and a Transfer Case with a PTO. The Truck sat for about 7 years, and now the transfer case leaks pretty good. How do I identify the transer case? Are they tough to rebuild? Where might I find a rebuild kit. Anyone else worked on one with a PTO? Any info is appreciated

Do you have a part time or full time transfer case? If its part time it should be an NP205. If its full time, an NP203.

Wrecker, they are not hard to rebuild but you will definitely want to get the manual first. You may not even need a rebuild, it's possible that you only need your seals replaced and new fluid put in. What case do you have?
