There's a dude with a '62 F100 with what he claims is a PTO winch COMPLETE except for the gearbox off the tranny or transfer case.
He says it's a T-18 transmission, I assume a divorced transfer case.
Is a PTO gearbox to drive a winch available with this transmission?

You can get a PTO gear drive for the T18/T98 series transmissions easy enough. They're still made, but they cost $550. There doesn't need to be a transfer case involved. the PTO gearset bolts to the side of the transmission where that square cover that looks like an inspection plate is. (its really a PTO blanking plate)
If you have a 4x4, there may be clearance issues with the PTO gearset and the front driveshaft.

66MercMan, its hard to say which winch you had, the Koenig Iron works made lots of them for Jeeps and Land Rovers. But they do not make them now. I have one on my CJ5. On my '89 250, I have a Braden ALGU2. You can find the specs on them at: http://www.paccarwinch.com/product/ahgu2.asp
Actually, I have an AHGU2, which is the Hydraulic version. My '79 150 had the shaft driven one, and I liked it a lot. But when I bought my new 250, the exaust system would not let me get a shaft to the front bumper, so I went hydraulic.
Got my setup from Sam Winer Motors, Inc. The phone number used to be (330)628-4881
I don't know if they are still in business or not. That was in 89.
But you can go to the Braden website and find dealers.
