Fundraisers?
You know what i'm talking about, when the neighbor kid comes over and says "do you wanna buy somthing outta this catalog for my band trip"? We had a presentation at school about this "fund raiser" thing. The catalog contained basically "garbage for the walls", flower pots, ugly picture frames and a little candy. I just kinda came to thinking.....Imagine how much more money you would make selling stuff like rapla's, fishing line, assorted lures, tool kits, screwdriver sets, etc. Wouldnt that be perfect, your spouse would never be able to yell at you for buying stuff out of that catalog either...fishing junk or tools, because it was "for a good cause". I wonder if there are fundrasiers that contain things like this. What do you guys/gals think, would this kinda thing sell? i think it would.

Up this way it is Chocolate covered Nuts.

We also have walkathons,
I oncew asked a 9 yr old that came to the door : " How far can you walk ?"
He replied: "I'm only allowed to walk to school....... about 3 blocks"
I said "Sign me up for $1.00 a mile"

With the fundraisers at my son's school, my wife is the one gets to rack up. We just finished one that had alot of Christmas and baking/cooking stuff in it. All I ordered was a magazine subscription and some gummi bears. The next school fundraiser will be candles. Hmmm, nothing for me there either. I guess I can order some popcorn from the Cub Scout fundraiser we still have going on.
